The project purpose is to develop broadcast encryption based DRM technology and solution for P2P IPTV application on embedded CE devices or software clients over Internet. The core technologies to be developed include broadcast encryption crypto technology as well as DRM solution for embedded P2P video broadcast delivery over Internet. The leading broadcast encryption based DRM solution from this project for embedded P2P IPTV video delivery will combine the advantage of P2P video delivery (in iShare) and IPTV platform to deliver a secure and quality IPTV service over open Internet for carriers and service providers.
